My son applied to a 3 week introduction to flight program from the Junior Airforce ROTC.
On the application it had a box to check if he would be interested in the JROTC 8 week program. This was offered to only 60 kids across the country. A tough program to break into for sure.
The fact that he was an Eagle Scout weighed heavily on the program admissions team and he got in, I was blown away.
So now he gets to spend 8 weeks this summer getting 5 college credits and his private pilot's license. ALL PAID FOR!
