I wrote up the adventures of the last five years of "Big Trips" that my friends and I took. I was not going to post them at first but, seeing as some people damn near screamed at me to post them, here they are. (5 reports in total - 4 submitted back to back).

The sub title for this report could be "Damn it Donny! You out of your element."

I might have enjoyed reading your report, but I stopped after about the first half dozen obscenities.

I think we just found out the answer to who is leaving the piles on the potty trail.

I only ever bring a .5 liter bottle of something sweet and it lasts me all trip. Donnie brought in 2 large bottles of Jack and had them gone by day 3.

A Brown Trout would have to swim a long way from Germany to end up in the BWCA. You sure it wasn't a Lake trout?

Hey Chilly:
Got me. All I know is that it was a Trout and that it was Brown. I am not the fisherman of our group. It was probably a Lake Trout but I am clueless when it comes to fish. I can barely tell a Walleye from a Bass.

Nice report. Sounds like a great time. Very similar to the trips I used to take in my 20's before I got married and had kids. Those trips spawned a ton of funny stories that will forever get told around the campfire. Even the little conflicts and blowouts within the group made for some hillarious memories! Enjoy it all!!!

This trip report had me laughing all the way. You have a good comic sense of humor. Also, I like your honesty when you point out some of the tensions that can build up on these trips, even among good friends. That's something most of us don't have the courage to report. I look forward to reading your other reports.

Thanks for the report. Definitely not the typical one we see here. Probably best that Donnie doesn't want to come back. Really don't need anyone decorating the trails like that again.

Even if Donnie did want to return I would not be going with him.
