I'm glad it went well for your wife's first trip. It sounds like you pretty much lucked out with the weather. It's nice to get away from the normal routine and have a little change of pace. Enjoyed the report and pictures.

Nice report! I'm taking my g/f on her first camping experience in a tent also. Hope it works out like yours did.

Good stuff! You're both very lucky to have such a nice trip together. Use that Permethrin stuff for the ticks next time. Job well done young buck!

Freshwater is delicious! Saltwater not so much..

What a great first time experience for your wife. It reminded me a little of my first trip with my husband. Perfect weather and beautiful lakes. We really enjoyed our time alone and became the start of many good trips to come.

Awesome trip report! I'm heading out in a few weeks with an exit point at Snowbank so it was nice to read a little more about that end of the route since it has been many years since I was through this part. Definitely not looking forward to Snowbank's waves though...

Thanks for the report! Looks like you may have a trip partner for life! Sounds like she had a great time and her smiles in the pictures show.

Glad your wife enjoyed the trip. I like your reflector oven, is it one of Old Scouts?

Great report! My wife and I are going on our first BWCA trip in September. I know I'll enjoy it, just hoping my wife enjoys it as much as your wife did.
