Great job on your first trip report!

All & all, sounds like the boys had a great time & you were able to camp at some very nice sites, covering some decent ground with the young ones. Looked as if the weather cooperated for the duration? Enjoyed the photos.

Thanks for taking the time to share your story & photos.

Yup, very nice report and it looks like you had a great trip. And, good for you for starting them young. They will carry those memories forever.

What a terrific trip report! When the group dynamics are right, everyone has a great time. I don't know your kids, but I am proud of the way they pulled together with the group and contributed so importantly to a memorable outing like this. I believe that you have planted a lifelong seed with both of them that will bless you for decades.

Well done.

Great trip report. As you know we took almost the identical trip and started the day before you did. The only difference was we arrived at Eugene through Fat Lake. Yes, the weather was almost perfect. Thanks for sharing all the pictures as they reminded me of several of the particulars of the trip. Great that you could spend that time with your family and those little guys will always want to do more trips ...and ... someday they'll get to carry the heavy stuff.

Thank You everyone!! We did have a great trip, and especially enjoyed spending time away from the day to day distractions with my two oldest boys. My hope is that they enjoy taking trips like this the rest of their lives. SE, you hit the nail on the head!! Group dynamics definitely makes or breaks a trip, we had good luck with that this time. I too, am proud of my little guys! TB, several of our sites were top notch this trip, I hope the seed that is being planted grows!! RJB glad you enjoyed reading my report and photos, I hope the little guys will take care of me when I need it later! Mashuga, the trip was GREAT, and the memories are priceless!!

Great trip report. Loved all the pictures. What a great dad you are for taking your three and five year old sons on this adventure. You've done something special making memories for three generations. Lil M.
