Thanks for the report! Glad to hear you guys managed to catch some fish despite the cool water temps. We'll be headed into SAK from Moose in just a few days... thanks for helping to hold me over until then!

Nice report. We'll be headed through SAK early next week...interested to see what the water temps are like.

Thanks for the comments.

We always dream of catching more, but we caught (and ate) enough to keep it fun and bring us back again next year.

awesome report GGrant really enjoyed it. knowing this area well i felt like i was there :) if you had more available time in the SAK/toe,it's good. that pike had to be huge in alpine, i've heard of others hooking into some big pike on alpine and there looking for something substantial out in the rapids.

keep your line wet, good things will happen

Thanks shock, and for the tips before we left. We will definitely pay a visit to Toe again next trip, even if just for the largemouth as there were a bunch in there. (That's the first time we actually caught LM in the BW). I do like that SAK area a lot; maybe have to change up and go in from the Ely side next time and make that our base. Never too early to start planning the next trip is it?
