06/06/2017 05:41PM In the past I have canceled 7 days before the trip and was only out the $6 fee. Remainder of permit fees were returned. |

06/04/2017 09:11PM I am sure as I see it now you only lose the registration fee if you cancel 2 days ahead of your trip. You would of bee n fine if you would of new like Thursday before midnight in your case. But sometimes we just don't know. Things like your cancellation just happens and that is just the way it is,although none of us like to pay the extra as it happened to you. But I think it is a good system overall and the setup functioned as it suppose to. I have had to cancel before, but been lucky to cancel the 2 days ahead of time. Hope you make it up there soon. |

06/04/2017 07:04PM Decided not to brave the Memorial Day weather last week - canceling a BWCA permit early Friday for a Saturday permit hit me for $32. Daniel |

06/04/2017 08:10AM I thought you would only loose your original registration fee.less than 48 hours you might loose a day or two. |

06/03/2017 03:52PM I don't remember one in the past but reading this year info which may pertain to campsite campground camping fee Maybe not the BWCA? In past you forfeited your registration fee,but don't remember cancelling fee unless it got like within 48 hours of trip date. Maybe the way it reads they are talking the original fee? |
