Have fun and let us know about snow conditions and travel conditions like slush on lake. Weather looks good for your trip.

Have fun and the long range forecast looks pretty good for next weekend.

Soledad: "Piragis rents covered fiberglass sleds if you are going up that way.
Otherwise Paris sled will work in a pinch (which it sounds like you are).
If you use duffel bags, you don't need a cover. "

I agree 100% on your choice. Used similar sled for 30 years. No cover but like a waterproof pack or duffel bag and or waterproof liners.

The only thing you might not on your own have the right harness or poles hooked up to the sled. If your not going in to far a rope will do in the pinch but not as good in many situations.

When do you need one?

Where are you at? You can borrow mine.

I just got invited on a one night camp out and need to buy/rent/borrow a sled and cover. My partner has a lot of other gear but I could use a gear list to look at what I possibly need to bring.

Can I get a little help out there? Thanks!
