04/21/2011 09:27AM hiking stick. wabakimi is full of rapids that are potentially dangerous. by nearby, i mean about 15km away on a beautiful campsite on whitewater lake. apparently this young man had attempted to stay long term on this island, sort of like "into the wild", the family of the man had erected an expensive bronze plaque to his memory and maintained the campsite for years in his honor. a six star site. |

04/17/2011 06:31PM Bannock - Yes that is a dog carrier. Freddie my 14 year old Beagle gets really cold if she is not walking around so she rides in it swaddled in down vests. The soup is 15 bean with Italian Sausage. The temperature was in the low 40's and the soup really hit the spot that day. |
