Make sure to check the wind forecast before your trip, Sea Gull can be hard to fish if the wind is up, not a ton of hiding places on the west side.

a good trolling stretch is from what they use to call picnic point (largest point on the west side) towards the rog potage and pass that. for smalleys, theres alot of down trees in the water from the burn, cast at that structure. sit out from the structure cast your lure let it sit for a few............. moments. then retrieve. the falls from jasper to alpine might have been good fishing a month ago not so sure now(the walleyes would have scattered by now). myself i would stay on seagull , the falls are cool in alpine but fishing is much better in seagull just my opinion

It's also worth portaging into Alpine Lake and fishing where the stream from Jasper Lake enters.

Yes , Fishing is good there. I have all ways camped on the south west corner near the portage into to Alpine Lake. The stream that runs from Alpine into Seagull is a good spot for Small mouth and Walleye.

I'm putting in June 18 EntPt 54 and plan on Staying the week on Seagull. Have never been there before nor has my 14 yr old son. From looking over the maps I'm leaning toward campsites on the east, north east part of the lake in and around all the islands. Is the fishing good there. Want walleyes and smallmouth. Thanks ML
