the doors on the SuperFly sealed it for me. Plenty of good options out there but in my opinion the Super Fly is the Cadillac of hammock tarps.

If you order direct from Hennessey online, you can ask for their larger "hex" fly instead of the standard one.

Never a drop of water in all the years that I've used my HH BP A-sym. Seems small at first, but proves itself in time.

I've never used a Hennessey but why couldn't you have kept it and just purchased a larger fly like the Warbonnet Superfly? Is it attached to the hammock or something?"
I thought about that, but I figured the fly was a part of what I was paying for with the Hennessy. If I'm buying a new tarp anyway I thought I may as well return it and look around and see if I could get more/better hammock for the money. I may end up buying another Hennessy, but Im taking the opportunity to start over with a better idea of what I want.

I believe there is a thread on this topic in the private group forum "BWCA Hammocking."

quote amhacker22: "I loved it and had the best nights sleep in years on 2 trips this year, but I just couldn't trust the included fly. It was too small for me to rely on. I still want a hammock though. My plan is to buy a hammock w/o an included fly and either buy a small CCS 1.1 tarp for the hammock, or get the Warbonnet Superfly. Any thoughts?
"
I have the Clark NX-250 and purchased (and used) the optional XL fly. It was sufficient but recently I purchased a Warbonnet Superfly to use from now on. I can't wait until my September trip. When conditions require, the new superfly with "doors" on the ends will make it seem like a suspended tent. That and the weathershield on the hammock means it can rain and blow all day and night and I'll stay dry and comfortable.

I used a 10x10 ccs tarp and it works. When the winds switched I wish I would have had the doors on the super fly. If I had to pick one or the other it would be the superfly

I enjoy my Clark Jungle hammock, I ordered mine with the XL fly. My buddy and I just got back from our trip. He did not order the XL fly and commented many times how he wished he had spent the extra 20 bucks to get the larger fly.
