quote eric Johnson: "Has any one com out of mudro lake going into Fourtown in last couple of days
what is the road condition to the lake? also how was the fishing in Fourtown?"

Just got back from entering/exiting at Mudro (EP23) on an 8 day trip. Exited on Saturday 7th. The road into Mudro is fine. Once you hit gravel it is fairly narrow & twisty so take your time (~20mph). Didn't do much fishing on Fourtown as we pushed further north than that but did talk to couple folks fishing it hard and all said Fourtown was great action. One of the guys was from Ely on a day trip and he had one more to go before limiting out on walleye. This was at about 1130am on Saturday morning so he must not have been there more than few hours(?).

If you're planning on entering @ Mudro, you better have a permit. There is one available on 7/10, and then they are all spoken for until August 22.
