Ever heard a noise up north you couldn't identify?
Noise one.
Noise two.
Noise three.
Noise four.
Noise five.

Aliens. The only reasonable explanation.
Last summer when I was up in Alaska, one day my crew kept hearing these booms about every half hour. It wouldn't have been that weird, except for the fact we were 80 miles north of Fairbanks way way way deep in the backcountry.
A few weeks later we found out that the Red Flag Days at the military base, which is training for pilots (as I understand it). We were hearing sonic booms, and quite a few of them.

Of all the roads you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.

Absolutely, everyone knows the Klingons have cloaking devices on their ships and remain cloaked while searching for unsuspecting humans alone in the wild to subdue.
Experienced the same thing 120 NW of Anchorage at the foot hills of the Alaskan Range. However they were right over head. Clearly a training area, and on their departure they left several sonic booms.

I heard something like that once out in the woods so I googled it. It has to do with the ionosphere. Sometimes with northern lights, sometimes not. Google Nikola Tesla and his ionosphere experiments. They are still doing his experiments in Alaska, it is very fascinating scientifically.
Life jackets float, you don't!

Please, no sensible answers!

I was certain a dragon was going to fly out of the clouds in the first link... That's some weird stuff. I'd love to experience it first hand! Especially if someone else on this forum heard it the same time I was in the BW!

I don't care for these noises. I listened to them right before bed last night, and I had a nightmare.
I'm going to pretend like they don't exist. Also, on a positive note, no one seemed to be slaughtered before, during or after the noises. No carnage.
