Got my new map framed and put on my wall, just need to add a few more pictures around it, will make route planning easier instead of connecting maps together.

housty9,
The maps a little fuzzy, but I don't think I see a route line drawn from Crane Lake to Lake Superior....

Is this a map you made or one purchased?

I have access to a large printer and have been thinking of making some maps. Since we will probably leave from Ely (2019) I might make one of just routes that traditionally leave from that area.

I bought it out of Madison Wisconsin, can't remember the name but will look it up.

Just finished engraving the frame from trip with my 11 year old in 2016,,our last two trips maps hanging in his room...hope to eventually take up all the wall space. Sorry, can't get it to show without being upside down.

Housty, is it laminated? Do you intend to mark routes taken or planned directly on the map? I think mine came from the same guy perhaps... but I haven't found anything good to draw on it with, so for now it's Look Only.

Also - how did you frame it? Mine is laminated, and there is a backing I could attach behind it, but I had grommets put in with lamination and it's hanging on the wall using those.

I put clear vinyl over it, used 1/4" plywood behind it and 1/4" x 3" cedar for the frame and clear coated the frame, used a finish nail gun and stapler to put it together, yes I'm going to mark all my different routes when I find the rite markers.
