Did not want to add to the sat messenger thread. PLB users, and I'm one.
The NOAA registration site has been updated. All the options are there but you may need to spend some time finding the pages. For me it's trip details, find the "edit" selection to arrive where you can make changes as needed. Updated the passwords, changed a few phone contacts.

I did notice in the other thread that some just use it in the BWCA. Mine is kept in my car or moved to whatever vehicle being used. I'm taking more extended drive trips as Rocky Mountains and crossing deserts out west, but even here in WI I could wind up in a draw driven off the road. Sometimes too far to be seen from the highway. Whatever device you choose it could be a lifesaver even in traveled areas.

Yeah, I carry mine in car between trips as well. Have never considered thinking of it.

It was kinda reassuring to have it on the long back road route from Wendover Utah to Jackson Wyoming.
