I am a cook up at the Gunflint lodge and outfitters. This is my third year living and working on the gunflint trail and no that we find ourselves waiting for fishing to open up in may I am looking for something to keep me from losing my mind over not fishing.

I know a lot of you trout fisher men and all anglers alike want to keep your spots secret and believe me I understand. I am not so quick to give out my recipes to strangers. That being said I am having a hard time locating streams and creeks that would be legal to fish. Any information anyone can share would be so appreciated! I just need to know what streams and creeks hold trout. I would hate to drive all the way out to a random one and just start pitching lures in when the population could be zero.

I have heard that Kimball creek is good, as well as the Devils track river. I'm looking to go out this Saturday and give Kimball a try.
