By reading old threads on crocodile lake number 66 permit some people say that the entry point is east bearskin lake same as 64. I just called the grand marais office and they told me "they believe it is a separate entry point" but sounded unsure. Is there anyone that knows a link to a answer or a better contact to get in touch with. Thanks

I think the best and most definitive answer was posted by ducks last August when he visited and took a photo of the sign at the entry point:

Veggie lakes entry side (66) is a poor place to park anyway.
Call Hungry Jack Outfitters. They serve that area and will have all the answers you need. Outfitters Tab.

Thanks botanyguy. That sums it up for me that's the answer I wanted but did not want to here you could only visit croc. I wanted to plan a day trip to show them Johnson falls. I will have to think about this.

Get the 66 permit. Camp on crocodile. Do a daytrip to wherever. Oh never mind. Just read the sign print. I was wrong.
