Looking for a used lightweight aluminum canoe to pick up in the Minneapolis area on the 19th. Ours is a 90lb monster and we're a bit tired of portaging it; looking to sell it after we get a replacement. A canoe in need of minor repairs would be fine.

Are you set on Aluminum? I have an Old Town Penobscot 16 in Royalex that will be ready to go in a couple weeks. Replacing the rotted gunwales with new, cleaning up all the trim, new webbing on the seats, and spiffing up the hull. Will be a real nice boat when done.
I'm not in the Cities but I could get the boat there. Or somewhere else enroute if it works out (I'm in NW Iowa).

I'm not completely set on aluminum, but it would be preferable. We own a welding repair shop and aluminum is going to be the easiest material for us to repair if we need to. On top of that aluminum is going to be the most cost-effective choice.

I have an 18ft Wenonah Sundowner I would sell.
Tuf-weave ultralight (pvc core). White gelcoat. I do have Kevlar skid plates on it.
adjustable tractor seats, Aluminum gunwale, thwarts, etc. I also have the nice removable padded yolk/seat for it. Weighs 60lbs.
Has not been used since 2015. Been hanging in the garage. Very nice paddling canoe. Normal scratches from use but very well maintained. Let me know if you are interested or would like more info.
Thanks,
Mike
