I love my Chota Hippies, yet am curious about this more economical alternative. Anyone use them? Durability, comfort and water proof a must as they will be my go-to pant in northern Alaska this summer, as well as shoulder month BWCA/Quetico. My current pair of Hippies are at a point where they need replacing as I have enjoyed them just a bit too much on many adventures and don't want to risk marginal foot gear on my upcoming opportunities.
