I was able to figure it out thanks. Gonna go into Crocodile in September for a couple days. Anyone got any recommendations for bait? I would think Leeches if they are available yet.

You only need to designate your entry day and entry point. The number of days you stay in is up to you. The form asks about exit date and exit point, but those are optional and you aren't bound to those choices. (FS likes to know an approximate number of folks in the area, I guess.) The only real limit on time: no more than 14 consecutive days on one site.

Howdy. When you say reserve a spot, do you mean get a permit? The permit entry and exit days are entered at the time of your entry point reservation. You won't reserve a campsite, rather reserve the position you enter the BWCA on a particular day. Some entry points offer many permits per day, others are more limited. The ones with higher permits offered per day are going to have many more campsites available within a reasonable proximity of the entry point. Once you're at an unoccupied campsite, it's yours until you decide to vacate and move campsites or leave.
