Anyone looking for some cheap gear for kids or even themselves, Aldis now has hammocks, small day packs, inflatable pillows and sleeping pads, plus some other things like small LED lights, etc.
I got one of the hammocks (rated to 330 lbs.) to try out naps in rather than sleeping in at night.

That's cool. I bought a really nice sleep pad from them last year for both me and my brother in law. I'm still using it.

I purchased a roll top aluminum table several years ago; no complaints, still works great, and about a quarter the price of everywhere else. A bit heavy but if we cared about the weight we probably wouldn't bring as much to drink.

Funny, just YESTERDAY I replaced my Seattle Sports collapsible bucket that I lost last year with this:
Collapsible Pan
Unfortunately, we're going to have to buy a second one, because after we got it home, my wife decided it's too good to use for camping, it's in our sink for full-time duty. So I'll be purchasing a second one now (LOL)

Fearing I was a little late to the punch as our local Aldi has been closed due to renovation/expansion, I stopped in to another nearby store over the weekend. I picked up a hammock and collapsible pan. Both were priced at $12.99 and seemed well made. Thanks for the heads up.

Supposedly they had some triangular shaped tarps but not at any of our local stores as I hit all 4 of them and no luck.

not seeing the collapsible fry pan in the ads in the link so will have to go to our local store and check it out. the handlebar bike basket looks like something that might work on my moms walker so that's a good find.

Looks like the add changed so the link doesn't show it? It's a collapsible DISH pan that they had, not a folding handle frying pan. Sorry for the confusion, but here's a link to a similar model. The one at Aldi's seems very well made? Folds flat, to a couple inches thick, to take up minimal space.

Yup, that's it. I think it will come in very handy when I buy another one for camping? My wife took possession of the first for home use!

Stock is going to depend on your local Aldi store. They started selling them May 10th, but I saw many of the items in the ad in my local store this past Saturday (20th).
