I've placed an old straight mountain bike handle bar between the front bottom of the seat and the pedestal and use a Superseat. This gives the seat something for the side straps to attach to. The handle bar stays put but still allows the seat to slide.

I don't like bucket seats to start with. (They don't fit my butt) .
My CCreek chair on a bucket? No way. I feel like I am sitting WAY too high. Sorry ; have not tried or looked hard for another backrest. Only web seat for me.

I have an older Crazy Creek canoe chair, and I have used it twice with Wenonah bucket seats. It's not ideal, you can make it work with some creative strap management. Back comfort is more important than butt comfort so I make do with the weird seat in favor of the vital back support. Mine has a little Velcro bit on the seat back so I can fold it down flat so it doesn't hang down in my way on a portage.
Last time, we got cane bench seats from Sawbill and it was so much better. The only good thing about the tractor seats is that the person in the bow can slide up or back to adjust the trim/ballast.
