I know it's not a portage pack. For the backpackers here though and the canoe packers who use a framed pack GG is closing out the line, over $100 off list price from last year. closeout Trace Access
I have used the earlier version for 2+ years and find it the most comfortable pack I have used.

I picked up their 46L Leopard V.C. last year and can't say enough good things about it, including its comfort. Great workmanship and quality on it and the portage pack I bought 2 years ago.

Very nice! Curious why they would discontinue this given it was a "Gear of the Year" recipient not too long ago...

BTW...You can get this now on the REI sale in the garage for $208 after using the 20% discount in the garage.
