Appears to be in great shape. Made of abs and vinyl. She thinks weighs around 68 lbs. I'm not familiar with what fair prices are bc I was looking for a Kevlar originally but then realized I could use a river canoe too. It is red and 5 years old. I appreciate any info you guys give. Thanks

I paid $1,200 new from REI about 3 years ago. Depending on where you are if bet,aka guess, $800.
But apparently upwards of $1,000 on paddleswap seems to be about the going rate.

In the Twin Cities a Craigslist price of $800 to $900 is about right if it is in good condition. Maybe $100 or so more if it is in nearly new condition. Royalex prices seem to have trended higher by $100 or $200 in the last few years once it became known that production was set to stop. I have a couple of Royalex Sundowners that I thought I would sell this year but given that they are harder to replace now, I'm hanging on to them as I still use them on rougher trips to the BWCA. Wenonah Royalex canoes are well built and can take a beating. Great for pulling over beaver dams, running rapids, etc. My 17' Sundowners also weigh in at 68 pounds. You won't regret owning a Royalex Spririt II except on a long portage!
Bent paddles can be had for about $40 each when you can find them.

I paid about $1100 for a used kevlar Spirit 2 a few years back if that helps give you a range. What the other posters have said seems pretty much right on point. I've really enjoyed paddling it - if you do move on it you won't be disappointed. Not the fastest boat around but no slouch either considering its cargo size and stability in all conditions.

They want $1000 for the boat, paddles and foam and straps. $1000 for Kevlar. Well done sir. I fish a lot so I like the stability of the Spirit 2.

$1k for RX or Kevlar? Your first post said Royalex and most recent one isn't as clear.
I bought my Tuf-Weave Spirit II about 5 years ago for $900 and it included 2 paddles, some almost useless for canoeing PFDs, a couple square flotation cushions, and a kayak cartop kit. In hindsight I probably could have talked them lower given the extent of rot I later found on the gunwales... but that was the boat I wanted, so I got it.

You can probably find a Kevlar Spirit II from an outfitter towards the end of the season for around that price, especially if its a few seasons old.

I would love kevlar but I use it on a lot of rivers in Wisconsin that are quite rocky. I'd like something I dont have to worry about beaching, or hitting rocks and stumps.
