Going out Friday to Tuesday on lynx and a few other lakes in that area. Will also spend a day on oyster. And fishing tips or reports. It's my first trip and I'm really excited. Also how bad are mosquitos?

Mosquitos came out on Sunday night. Biting flies will keep you entertained.
Fish Little Shell deep with jigs for solid walleye. River is still holding fish, especially past Devils Cascade.
Have fun and go with the "flow".

Spray your clothes with Pemethrin before you go, take at least one pair of fast drying pants and a shirt, and don't boat if you can't float!

I would echo the keeping of the jigs on the bottom, I like to pinch a half crawler on the back of my jig when it gets really tough. Just don't be in a hurry to bounce your jig back, give it time on the bottom when they are in a neutral or negative feeding pattern.

You can always find them easier when they are active. It's fun to fish for active fish first with crankbaits, or a size 2 or 3 MEPPS, I also like to throw a hairpin spinner, (beetle spin style bait) when I'm searching.

I also spray down my cloths with permitheran, (sp). It really does help, especially with ticks.

Nomad.
