Carp to Emerald portage

Anyone know about the Carp portage into Emerald? I have 2 Mckenzie maps and one shows a shorter portage into a south bay and a dotted line to the north bay. The other map just shows the longer portage to the north. I'm guessing it's the longer portage, but would like to know which bay we'll end up in.

You'll take the shorter portage into the southern bay: I've been that way. I'm not sure that the other portage even exists at this time.

Thanks, I think we are going to Emerald 1st. I guess it would be more important if we decide to come back out that way, but it is good to "stay found".
