Heading to the Lady Boot Bay area via ep16 1st week of July targeting Walleye but going after any species. Does the area offer decent Walleye fishing, or other species? Hoping someone has visited the area recently.

We never did terribly well on walleye in Lady Boot. But the walleye fishing up towards Fish Stake Narrows has been really good. You might also want to check out Toe Lake. We've always caught walleye there. Good luck!

Lady boot has some big pike in there but we've never caught much walleye back there. The site north of the lady boot cooridor, west of fish stake narrows, is one of my favs ever. One night we stayed on the island east of fish stake, and killllled the eyes south of the site 100 yards.
Thanks for the info! After a lot of reading and deliberation we are settling on the Fish Stake Narrows area to camp, since we all prefer to target Walleye as opposed to the always-present Pike and Smallie fishing. Hoping there is an open site in that area and not sure how we feel about it being so crowded, but the fishing outlook there seems to be greater than Lady Boot, at least in terms of Walleye.
