It is my understanding that the mine in south of the cabin, along the ridge that borders the south end of the lake. There is a picture in this trip report, but little detail on its location.

I've seen the mine, but I could not find the cabin. If memory serves me correctly, the mine is at the base of a rock face that rises many feet from the ground. It isn't much to see... there's a winch of some sort and one can see where the shaft was (but it's now covered over with rocks.)

The cabin is on the north side of the little creek that beavers have dammed up about 50-100 yards in the woods I think I still have the gps coordinates for it. And the woods are pretty thick
