I am looking into getting a Hennessey Expedition Asym zip hammock. Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback on these hammocks? Thanks for your thoughts!

it was a tad short for me, I am 5'10", it wasnt uncomfortable it just needed to be setup perfect to not have a calf ridge. My son who is now about 5'8" loves it. He has been using it for the last three years. You will also need a bigger tarp unless you are only going to be camping when it doesn't rain.

They are a good quality hammock, but they aren't the lightest and at 10' long they are on the short side. Most camping hammocks are 11' long. Also, as pointed out, the fly supplied is too small and in my mind not adequate in stormy weather. A larger fly will need to be purchased.
You may want to do some additional research before you make a purchase. Check out the boards over at HammockForums.net. Look at the Warbonnet Blackbird or XLC as well as the new Dutchware Chameleon.
There are other good cottage vendors out there as well.
