Got my new/used Morningstar licensed last week and noticed one side had peeled off leaving only a little glue. Anyone have this happen before? I've licensed several boats in MN in the past and never had an issue. Should I notify them or just not worry about it since one side is perfectly intact. I DID notice the license looked like it was printed on a different kind of material? OTOH, my new "Flying moose" looks just fine despite the 6 days of rain and 2000 mile round trip!

I just went in to the MN DNR to replace my 2018 stickers I damaged while refinishing my canoe. Not sure if replacements are an option, but they had me reregister it for $21.50 through 2019. I might try to use some clear packing tape to reattach your loose decal, or just let it ride as-is.

Ozarkpaddler - same thing happened to me. Just email the MN DNR with your info. info.dnr@state.mn.us They will send you a replacement. I got mine in less than 5 days. Mine came half off while driving. Must be a bad batch of stickers.

wait- what? the Minnesota DNR mailed you replacement boat decals for free? I walked into the DMV and they made me pay $6.
