Does anyone know of a source of digital Canadian topo maps, similar to the National Geographic Topo! software, or something similar? Thanks for any advice.
Caltopo has them, and I know that you can get these one your gps, though don't ask me the steps. I also have the "topo maps by phil endecott" app on my iphone which has canadian topos.
You could download Garmin Basecamp (free software), then a $30 1 year subscription to Birdseye Topo Raster which includes Canadian 50K NRC sheets. NRC topo only, and NRC topo with campsites/portages/and other highlighted things. They work well with a home inkjet printer.
