Is it still on because of the rain?

AFAIK, the Kish has remained below flood stage even with the down pour of over 5 inches further to the east last week. (The Des Plaines was a different story)

I would like to. I have heard the Kish is a really nice river to paddle.

However, I am going to be out of town the weekend of paddlefest.

Maybe next year I can set aside that weekend in advance.

Yes, there will be rentals. Both yaks and canoes. Oh and you can bring your guitar if you wish.

Will need to keep an eye on this. Looks like parts of the river are closed because of the flooding.

From the look at the river levels the kish will be good for paddling by the weekend.
