Has anyone tried those Radarcan devices, or the Sawyer with 20% Picaridin?
We've used Permeteherin for several years now and have used Backwoods Off for skin, but was wondering if these others are worth the time and money.

Picaridin? YES!

From the pump sprayer, the Sawyer works great. Backpacking on a warm sunny day, I find it needs to be reapplied every hour or so. However, unlike DEET, you will not notice any greasy build up.

Found some n an aerosol can and I am not ready to give that top marks. It works, but not as good as the pump spray.

I still carry a one ounce Repel 100 DEET on every trip... just in case. But I have not used DEET in 5+ years now.

Picaridin is great stuff. Deet works, no doubt, but I'm happier with its alternative.

Picaridin is great. I hate worrying about deet melting gear. Just make sure the picaridin is at least 20%. Less than that isn't nearly as effective.

Yep, it sure does. Had one leak in my pack over the winter. Wrecked a lot of stuff.
