This may have been posted before, but for us old farts reminders are a good thing.
On August 28 the price of the Senior Pass to the national parks will go from $10 to $80.
So all you kids 62 or over that don't already have one may want to look into it if you think this is something that would be a benefit for you.

Got mine in 2008, at the Yosemite eastern gate, on the way back from the Boundary Waters. I'd just hit my 62nd as I was exiting the BW. The wife finally got hers 3 weeks ago.

Keep them under lock and key, from what I understand if lost you have to buy a new one.
Just got mine. Does any one know if these passes give discounts for BWCA permits or forest service campgounds?
