Needs some reinforcement, but I am getting keyed up for a couple out-of-the-way walleye spots.

This is the sort of set up which a handful of guys use in the deep Everglades. A flats boat, while a fine fishing platform, doesent compare to the stealth of a canoe.

It will greatly stabilize the canoe racks by adding a leg to the other side of each post, like the tow boats do, and they will be much stronger.

Very nice and handy set up. So handy. I have an old smoker craft Alaskan that has been slated for that modification. Never got around to it. Envious and inspired.

There aren't any walleyes left in Marabaeuf, Red Rock, or Cache Bay so if that is your plan you should reconsider.
