Cool how it travels along the ground then erupted in the water.
Edit per twobygreencanoe, looks like it's not a lighting strike but det cord. Maybe they were blowing up a beaver dam started in the river.

You think that was lightning? hmm, what does Det Cord look like when it is set off? Something was destroyed in the river to make those waves.

Camera perfect angle to record...

Sure kicked up some stuff from the bottom... At the end there's log shaped things floating where there wasn't before.

Camera angle looks to be maybe what a security camera would be at.

The more I watch the less I think it is lightning. The explosion is not delayed because of distance, and it doesn't make a sound until the water explodes. The sound follows the explosion as it happens. So that means no thunder from the lightning, and they are like peas in a pod :)

That may be the case. But lightning does some unreal things at times when it encounters different "phases" of moisture-- whether it's water vapor, water itself or a combo. Also think about ground contacts being more conductive. We all know how light bends in a rainbow by the refraction of light-- imagine that times 10. IMO this is pre season ball lighting formation.

Definitely Det Cord. Watch this video and it looks the same. 500 ft of Det Cord

That smoke is exactly the same color as the smoke dynamite makes.

Cool video, but not lightning. See this link for the explanation how a Finnish engineering company performed a controlled underwater explosion in 2012:
