map colors different in BaseCamp and GPS

I have PaddleNav on BaseCamp and on my Garmin Montana GPS. I created a new map and the colors are the same as PaddleNav, yellow for land, blue for water, same colors for both maps. I installed the new map from Garmin BaseCamp to my GPS. On the GPS the PaddleNav map colors remain yellow and blue, the colors for my new map are green for land and purple for water.

How can I get the new map to display the correct colors on the GPS? The same colors as the map has in BaseCamp.
