I'm wondering if anyone has an extra rear seat for a three man Souris River 18.5.

I bought one from an outfitter this spring and the term "Buyer beware", comes to mind.

I learned my lesson, I've refinished it, including the 13 poorly finished patches, that I didn't think a canoe that "I don't think it has any patches" would have. Of course I in my excitement after driving 9 hours and a trip starting in a week, put it on my truck and headed home.

Anyway the rear seat was severely cracked, but we didn't find out until we started our 9 day journey.

I do have a friend who made a nice one out of laminated wood, but not with the bend that they have. I'm wondering if anyone has one and what they would run.

I've got a couple lightly used stern seats on the porch. One from a Bell, one from a Mad River. If you measure the distance front and back I could see?

Thanks! I'm looking for a Souris River match if possible. I do have one a woodworker friend made without the contour, and although not necessary, I'd like to have an original back up if possible.
