Anyone have experience with this new line from Berkley? Thinking about trying it out on my fall trip.

Never heard of it. What advantage does this line have over the others? Just curious now.

I guess its just the smaller dia and ease of casting and they claim superior sensitivity.... But I'm reading you have to tie a special knot since its a bit slippy.

Mike, You a clear or green line fan?

It casts a mile...obviously exaggerating but it does increase your cast distance. It is tougher than mono but it is not a braid so you can break it off a lot easier if you are used to braid.

If you are jigging and casting I think you would like it. I wouldn't use it for trolling, live bait rigs, or bobber fishing.

Why wouldn't you use it for trolling, timatkn? I am unfamiliar with the line but it seems to me that it might be useful for deep-water trolling because of the thin diameter.

Just an opinion, it doesn't take stress well, if ya got some twist I'd assume it would fray. I'd use a braid instead, once again an opinion. I think this line was developed specifically for casting though.

Clear up north. Sometimes use green here back home in the river since the river has a green tint ( when it is not muddy :) )

There is a great article on NanoFil. It is " In-Fisherman" July issue 2017. It has very thin diameter for its break strength and also no stretch. It is meant to be fished on spinning tackle, so the article says.
