Headed up to loon lake with some college friends, taking the easy route this year but wondering if anyone has advice for the walleye out on loon (from a canoe). Anyone having any luck on them this year? Headed up next Thursday!

Loon as in between Beatty portage and Devils cascade? If so I've got an area you can check. We spent 2 days there last august.

I caught lots of walleyes lots of smallies on loon in June I'm not sure exactly how it's going to be this fall I'm planning on going up there in the end of September. Anyone ever fish Beatty lake?

That is good to hear, any tactics for later in the season (Labor Day) for some walleye action?

Try Little Loon and the surrounding water in the Little Loon/Loon narrows area.

Look in the water for dying cabbage weeds. If you find them, fish on the edge of them or just inside of them.

Last bay on the right before Beatty Portage...full of reed and rock. Have nailed them in there at sunset so many times I lost count. Shallow shadraps do the trick.
