I think it was 1988 when 1happycamper and I went in through Beaverhouse, headed down to Jean and on to parts unknown. I found a few pictures from our trip. The kind you used film to take.



This is the truck at the portage from Beaverhouse to Quetico Lake. It was in a wide open prairie. I found it in 2015 on my solo and it was in the woods. The trees had taken over the prairie. Could not find any of the saw blades we found in '88. Back when she could double pack.



This was a cabin we came across on the south side of Quetico Lake before you head south toward Jean. Tried to find it in 2015, but no luck.

Luckily 1happycamper has not changed too much ; )

Thanks for sharing these vintage photos. I was 17 years old at the time and had no idea these places existed even though I lived in MN. Interesting how time really changed the landscape when you went back in 2015.
