Just got back from a few days basecamping on Lynx. Fished some of the surrounding lakes. Overall, I'd say fishing was slow.

Managed some good variety including pike, walleye, SMB, LMB, and rock bass. Size was small to average and fish were scattered. Air temps were warm for this time of year.

Didn't measure, but the surface temperature of the water seemed pretty warm. Crawlers were effective, and had some luck on plastics as well as spoons.

Thanks for the report. Seems like everyone has had slow fishing this fall. I wonder what's up. I would think warm air would make for hot fishing.

Fish are usually in transition at this time of year, but the coolness and raininess of the summer has really got them in flux. Once that water temp gets in the upper 50s it will be game on and everything will be biting !
