I am considering purchasing a new insulated pad to save both weight and room in my pack. I currently have several Exped mats (both Synmat 9's & Downmat 9's), but compared to the newer products on the market they are somewhat bulky and heavy. Do any of you own a Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Insulated Pad that could provide some insight to the durability, comfort, noise level, and insulating capacity? I know earlier versions had a lot of quality issues by looking at many reviews but this model seems to have fixed the issues.

Any other recommendations? I'm looking for something roughly 25" wide x 78" long. It needs to be insulated and weigh under 28 oz. I would also like it to pack up to 5" x 10" or under. The smaller & lighter the better.

I can't tell you anything about the BA pad, but I have an Exped Synmat 7 LW that has been replaced by a Thermarest Neo-Air XTherm LW (impulse buy on the bargain shelf at Cabela's), which is lighter, packs smaller, is warm and comfortable. I like it and have used it for a couple of years. Noise? I always heard that here, but 98 out of a 100 people who actually used it and reviewed it weren't bothered by it. Besides, I don't wear my hearing aids when I sleep ;).

The Exped is now a loaner.

I bought the Nemo Cosmo 25" x 76" insulated pad. It is somewhat lighter and noticeably larger than my exped downmat9 . Comfortable, easy to inflate, quiet. Super quick and easy deflation. Not as warm as the exped, noticeably not as warm but good enough for all but the very latest or earliest season trips. Have not opted for the Exped since getting the Nemo.

No Q-Core SLX experience but lot of BA Insulated Air Core Mattress time, and have laid on Q Core SLX in stores. Pretty quiet making very little noise when rolling over, packs down to comparably small size as other competitors, not sure about the temp rating as my experience is with IAC, and it does not make it to the rated temp, starting to get noticeably chilly below 30 degrees.
Durability wise I get about 150 nites of sleeping before the seams start to slowly leak. This has been fairly consistent with 4 BA air mattresses and my first Exped Down 9. I use an Exped Down 5 Short for most seasons the last 3 years (over 200 nite sleep), and have not noticed any leakage so far.
