I’m going to guess that the pictures that are turned were taken with a cell phone. If this is the case the problem is with you not this website. You need to hold the camera a certain way. The camera remembers the way you took and held the phone when the picture was taken. If you held the camera upside down it will save it that way and load it here that way. Do an experiment holding your phone both ways taking pictures and you will find out how you need to take pictures. You can also rotate them and save them in a post processing photo program and then post them.

quote Winemaker: "Having same problem, the pics are fine on the phone, fine on pc I downloaded them to, but not oriented properly after download.Grrrr...."
I just took 4 pictures of the same thing and posted 4 pictures in my photo album, (I deleted then after the test). I rotated the cell phone 4 different ways, and uploaded them to my album. Only one picture taken horizontally was posted correctly with my iPhone 7. The correct way to take and post a picture with my iPhone is to hold the phone horizontally with the home button on the right. Then it will take and save the picture correctly. No idea about an Android phone but I bet it similar.

I have had the same issue. I download the photos from my phone to my laptop. Whenever I post a photo to BWCA.com, I check to see if it is oriented correctly. If it isn't, I notice how it appears on BWCA and rotate a copy of the photo accordingly on my laptop. Then I download it again. Viola! It orients correctly.
I set a goal of losing 10 lbs. this year. I only have 15 left to lose.
