Headed up to Sawbill area this Wednesday...wondering what bait is working and where to get it? TT Sawbill Outfitters and they'll have crawlers. Will be bringing a few different GULP baits...are minnows worth the trouble and where can I get them? (The closer to the outfitter, the better).

I haven't been there recently, but on my two Oct. trips to Sawbill I got minnows at the Holiday Station in Tofte. In Oct. I don't think they are a hassle and are easy to keep alive. I kept them in the oxy bag inside the minnow bucket until we got to camp.

Yes minnows are the ticket in the fall.

Grab some crawlers also, they were working as well as minnows the last week.
