I am excited to try this new bag/pad out! I'm headed up this weekend and although it won't get below 40's it looks like, It'll be a good chance to try with a ground set up as well as in a hammock. Anyone else used one or seen one yet?
REAL interesting and seems like the concept will work well and is somewhat weight efficient for the temperature. More to come after my trip.

I'm also interested. I bought it new from someone who got it from EB so I'm not sure how their warranty holds up. I'd happily pay to have it fixed if it goes out due to the fact that I paid just over $100 for it.
I think the pad will be just a tad short but it is pretty amazing how compact it gets and compresses down to. I'll try to post pictures before I go so you can see just how incredible it looks.

Interesting and similar, but integrated, to BigAgnes systems. Hope the inflated mattress matches the bag for durability. My personal experience is an inflated pad will develop leaks and need replacing several times (how many? I've never worn out a down bag), over the lifetime of a good down bag. I hope your use is better than that.
My 3 season system is a BA Horsethief that weighs on my scale 1 3/4 pounds, and an Exped Down 5s that weighs 15 ounces. These pack into a zippered 18L bag together with a set of longjohns, without compression. This setup is comfortable to freezing for me.

To start off with one word: WOW! It obviously didn't get quite cold enough to test out the temp rating of this setup, but it was SUPER easy to hand pump inflate, deflate and pack. Comfort was as good as you can get on the ground. Being able to roll over without the bag rolling off the pad was a huge plus. Super comfortable hood/pillow. My feet were almost off the edge but not entirely so it was perfectly sized for me (6 feet). Like many have said, the price is outrageous if you pay retail. I'd happily pay twice as much as I did for it again. I'm looking forward to colder weather to test it out. I think the sides may be a little less insulated than the top, so if there is a cold spot that's where I'd expect it to show. Only other question mark/negative is the ability to form a fetal position, but that is mostly due to my long legs, but I don't see that being a problem.
Overall, very similar to sleeping on a pad with a top quilt, just more compact without the worry of air gaps and a really nice hood/pillow. I'll give it a 9.5/10 just because I don't know how well it'll work in sub 30 temps.
