For the past few years I've been just using cord and a seat belt width webbing around my chest to tow my sled. Now I'm wanting to trek a little further and want to rig up a more comfortable and effective system.

I have a spare hipbelt that I'm planning to use so I'm wondering how you all have found the best ways to attach your sled to your harness? I've seen the pole method which seems ideal for going up and downhill like I'm planning, but how do you best attach it to your sled for easy attach/detach?

I will be interested to see solutions to this. I used a harness for a couple years by went back to the regular trump strap because it seemed so much easier for me when portaging.

Detach and attach Poles- Check out Ski Pulk pin system

If it is ropes Through poles just a locking carabiner.

I leave my poles and harness always attached to my Boggan except for vehicle transport
