I'm packed and ready to ice fish the Waubay SD. area. Anticipating jumbo perch, bull gills, slab crappie, huge eyes & monster slimers. My main goal is football sized perch however. Now I need to just be patient for 3 weeks, and hope there is enough ice!!

Anyone from Waubay SD. area?
Heading up this weekend and wondering how thick the ice is.

Geez sounds fun Tony! I miss ice fishing but never got into truly big perch. THAT would be a riot. Take some pics and let us know how you do. Probably some some good walleye in the same area as the perch. Good Luck!

Fish were biting at Waubay last weekend. Sounded like 6 inches of ice and 13-14" perch. Good Luck!
