Hey Terry,
Wanted to chat with you but lost your contact info from earlier this summer when I purchased a canoe from you. Get a hold of me if you can, at your convenience

dbpmw3, my apologies for piggybacking your message!

ozarkpaddler, I am sorry if this is a bother to you. I actually came across your highly relevant (to me!) 2014 review of the Nemo Espri 2-person, including trekking pole vestibule, today. I cannot find the vestibule for the life of me. I knew I'd regret not purchasing it with my own Espri 2-p tent back in 2012!

My wife and I are booked to backpack Torres del Paine in Chile next March, and I just don't want to buy a new tent when I know and love my Espri. I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance you have since upgraded your camping equipment, and would have interest in parting ways with your vestibule and selling it to me for this incredible trek?

Sorry again to disturb!

ME2MN,

If ozarkpaddler doesn't want to sell his, I'll sell you mine. Heck, I would sell you the whole set-up if you wanted a spare. I took the Trekking Pole Vestibule out of the package, set it up to see how it worked, put it away and never took it out again. It's brand new. I bought the tent used from another member on this site. I set it up to try the Trekking Pole Vestibule and never used the tent either. I think the member whom I purchased it from said he used it for a long weekend and that was it as well. Make an offer. I thought that I would use it, I just haven't. I have 6 tents and a Lean so I need to thin the gear.

Hi Northwoodsman,

Thanks for responding. I'm definitely interested in the vestibule. You say you purchased the vestibule itself brand new? Can you confirm that it's for the Espri 2p and not the Espri LE 2p? Apparently, I read somewhere that the LE model does not fit on the older model that I have.

Thanks!

ME2MN - It's for the Esprit LE. Email me, I'll make you an offer that will be tough to refuse on the tent, with all 3 vestibules and the footprint.

Just noticed this. Step-father whom had been my father for 48 years passed away last Thursday evening, so I've not been here much except late at night since I cannot sleep.

Sorry, but I sold the NEMO Esprix to someone here on BWCAW.com. It was a nice tent, but a bit small unless both parties were small. Decent little solo, though. I sold it when I got a killer deal for an Alps that is a bit roomier. Of course, it gets rare use as the NEMO Wagontop is SO nice! Good luck. The Esprix was a nice little tent for me.
