I picked up a tandem canoe this week. I am fairly certain that it is a Blackhawk, but I am having trouble identifying the model based on it's dimensions. It does not match anything that I can find. She has a fairly pronounced keel/rounded hull and low sides. Any help from Blackhawk aficionados out there would be greatly appreciated. Dimensions are below.

Tip to Tip OAL = 17'8"
Waterline OAL = 17'4" (approx)
Center height at yoke = 13" (taken from the canoe floor to top of gunwale)
Center width (actual hull) = 35"
Center width (outside gunwale) = 36.5"

Looks to be the Gold layup.

Thanks for your help gents.....

Others know much more then myself but my guess is a Phantom.

Pictures might help. Most of us don’t have canoe dimensions memorized. Can’t tell anything from what you posted.

Lengths varied depending on the day made but Phantoms ranged from 17-6 to 17-10. I believe the only other true tandem they made was the Watersmeet and that ran about 16-9 in length.

Sorry guys. I'll try to post some pics. I sent a note to the BWCA forum moderators requesting permission. When I initially tried I was blocked with a friendly message "pretty new to be posting links"......I'm a newbie on the site....I'm guessing you have to have a certain min post count to link pics....

Thanks for the help and input thus far.
