How much snow is on the gunflint side? Any slush?

Does anyone have any new info on Slush conditions? is it hard ice, or slushy? We're going up next weekend and are praying we're not running into conditions like 2 years ago on seagull. Thanks!

Last week there was no slush. Except the next day where we had drilled our holes. Ice depth was thicker than normal compared to other years. I think you should be good unless something has changed in 5 days. Fish were cooperative too.

Friday i found slush on Leo and Birch lakes. Temps hit 40°. I was on Seagull thurs. There was one small areas of slush but not bad overall. Most. Lakes have approximately 18" of ice.
